Jessica was our 'Dream Day' guest at the Vans Warped Tour in Detroit, MI. She has a rare Muscular Dystrophy disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). SMA is a progressive disease that slowly eats away at the muscles. Due to the progression of Jessica's disease, she has very limited use of her arms, hands and legs. She has had to endure more hospitalizations and surgeries than anyone should ever have to go through.
Jessica was the former State Ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. How AWESOME is that?! She has given back and helped others so much in her life. She has spoken on behalf of MDA and talked to sponsors regarding their donations and where the money goes.
Even through all of this, SMA does not define Jess! The ONE thing that gets her through it all is MUSIC. Music has been a best friend, comforter, encourager and healer in her life. Special thanks to our Vans Warped Tour family and the great bands that took the time to make Jessica's day a perfect one!
