Meet our incredible #DREAMDAY guest, Emily. Emily was diagnosed with Stage 4 Stomach Cancer at the age of 21, and for her #DREAMDAY, she got to meet one of her favorite artists, Blackbear! Despite going through chemo every other week, and the possibility of having to get her stomach removed, Emily remains positive and leans on her family and friends during this really tough time. Blackbear and Emily spoke for about an hour and bonded over both having chronic stomach problems, their love for roller skating, and her favorite Blackbear song named “Emily.” Blackbear was very encouraging and urged Emily to get back out there and go rollerskating again! He even sent her a custom pair of rollerskates as a surprise after their virtual #DREAMDAY together. At the end he invited her and all of her friends to come to the San Diego date of his upcoming tour, where they will get to hang backstage and meet in-person! ...more
